Years ago, a civil war devastated the Oran, a species of powerful telepaths. Cael, the Oran overlord, has learned how to harness the minds of humans to access the Éa, the nexus of shared consciousness at the heart of every living being’s psyche. With this discovery, only one thing stands in the way of his ultimate goal of becoming a god: Humanity itself. Human minds, though weak in comparison, possess a burgeoning power unlike any even the Oran have ever seen.
